Hobbies: I love writing, singing, drawing, and just art in general. I love to write poems, short stories, and am even working at a few novels under the alias Lady Victorian. Most of all I love working with animals and show horses which I have been doing almost my whole life and modifying my clothes which is a funny hobby of mine that started when I wanted to like apart from everyone else. I do love to go camping in the summer and hang out with my friends and family, go fishing, go for long walks in the woods, and take pictures of the nature around me. I’m sort of an outdoor girl like that.
Musical Background: I started music very young from about the time I was two or three. My father was big into classical music and I still remember being a toddler and dancing to Madam Butterfly. Going to a private school for most of my young life everyone had to be active in the plays and musicals so needless to say from ages five till thirteen I was always performing on stage. Once I went to public school I had given up on music until age fifteen when I listened to Nightwish Wish I Had an Angel for the first time. From that moment on I knew I wanted to sing.
I started taking private lessons with my first teacher Lorry Brown and starting to perform on stage for the first time on my own. During high school I became very active in the musicals and even went to MacPhail for a while working with a talented vocal coach. In 2009 I eventually went to work with Diana Grasselli and working at becoming a classically trained opera singer. Around the very same time I was the lead singer of Maelstrom. In 2010 I started the project Adria and had auditioned for a rather well known band. I continue to work with Diana Grasselli and have since been enrolled into an opera program to better my vocal technique.

Idol’s: My music idol’s who I have really looked up to have been Tarja Turunen first of all. She was the one who inspired me to not only desire to be a classically trained opera singer but a Symphonic Metal singer as well. Lisa Middelhauve would also be another singer I have always looked up to, Melissa Ferlaak, Simone Simons, and Emilie Autumn. I love how they all are with fans and even younger singers. They have always inspired me to do my best and keep trying even when it felt at times I was going nowhere fast. My other idol’s are not only the strong women of the metal scene but in my family as well such as my aunts, my mother, and my grandmother. They have all believed in me even before I believed in myself and always helped me when I needed help.
