Hobbies: My hobbies include the continual evolution of my skills on the guitar, songwriting, metal show booking & promotions, occult studies, historical studies, UFO studies & computer graphics.



Musical Background: I grew up in an 80's hair metal band called Grimm Reaper, which was comprised of my mom, dad, uncle & cousin. I always loved metal. As early as I could remember, my favorite song was Snowblind, which I thought was my parents song at the time. Every day I would watch Transformers and He-Man, then Alice Coopers Welcome to my Nightmare. Later in life when I was about 8 I heard King Diamond & Mercyful Fate from a baby sitter. I toiled with a guitar as a kid and would pretend I was a rockstar, even took a few lessons when I was young. When I was about 15, I picked up a guitar that I had found in my fathers old room, went around the corner to Palomba's Music shop and got some strings, came home strung it up and learned how to play Snowblind by Sabbath note for note. Ever since then I've been a metal guitarist. I then discovered a year or two later Yngwie Malmsteen and re-discovered Andy LaRocque and Glenn Tipton. I then decided that I had to try to be on their level. It wasn't till much later, like around 18, that I discovered the metal sub-genre forefront bands like Emperor, Iced Earth, and Nightwish. Once that happened, I really tried to hone my style, and get a band going. Since then I have been in Metadox, hence why I keep the stage name of Lord Metadox, and now my most fruitful labor of love, DesDemon.
